Stage Two of Labor: Pushing & Your Pelvic Floor
A hands-on birth preparation workshop exploring pushing, pelvic floor function, movement, and positioning for the second stage of labor.
With Dr. Jenn Gelfand of Root To Rise PT and Alayna Lynne of The Passage
Do you feel ready for the second stage of labor?
We have found that so many birthing people prepare for the first stage (dilation), but when it comes to pushing, how to prepare often remains a mystery.
Do you know how to push?
Do you know what positions make the most space for baby to exit the pelvis?
Do you know how to prepare and protect your pelvic floor?
Do you have a movement practice that connects you with that part of your body?
How does your provider manage the second stage?
How do you want your provider to support you?
We will help you show up for your birthing day with even more confidence about your baby’s journey and how you can feel more prepared.
This birth preparation workshop is most beneficial during the third trimester, when you're beginning to think more specifically about labor, pushing, birth positions, and preparing your pelvic floor for birth.
Come move and learn with us! Please wear comfortable clothing to move in.
This class is for pregnant people only.
